Finally opened up Ridge Racer 7 last night. I bought it when I picked up the system, but have been playing Motorstorm and Resistance.
First thing… This game is very pretty! Plays really well, not much different than past iterations, but I like the interface too. You can even “install” it on the HD and load times speed up significantly (as far as I can tell). I wish Motorstorm would do this as it’s loading times are outrageous.
On a side note (since this post in the PS3 category), I did play a litle WoW last night.. I think I’m going cold on it again.. 2.1 might revive my interest. I need to get into some instances again or get some groups together to do the outdoor group required quests. I have a few that seem to give some good gear (and/or lots of gold). I did some crap in Netherstorm last night. I want to up my Consortium rep. I also need to work on my HH rep, Lower City rep, Sha’tar rep, etc… I DO have Revered with CE, but I have a long way to go on the others.. Need to run some instances for more rep (I think I’ve done most, if not all, the quests)
Another side note (or not so side).. I think Sony should get PopCap to port Peggle to the PS3s PSN.. I think it would be a smash hit !! Supposedly people are getting invitations to the closed beta of Sony Home, but I haven’t gotten anything (not surprising).

A few days ago I rolled a new Warlock on Draenor. Gnome 
I finally was on when a Guild leader was on and got added to the guild. I ran around and got to Lvl 6 (I think). I played a warlock once before but on Horde and I have to say that so far I’m liking it. DoTs are pretty nice and the imp helps out a lot too in the early going. I guess Warlocks get their “pet” earlier than Hunters since they are a little more fragile (only Cloth armor, etc). Still looks like it will be a pretty fun class to work on.
I took Fimlys back to Blades Edge last night and Did the quests for CE there. I killed the “boss” related to the “costume” quests and also used the Trap you get to take down the Big elite guy in the Ogre area (I’m being real specific here, aren’t I?). Ended up making over 80g last night in just a few quests and vendoring the rewards. I almost wish this guy was an Enchanter because i would have a TON of good Enchanting mats (but not much gold).
Decided at about 11:30 that I wanted to play some Motorstorm. I finally beat the level I was having the most trouble on (only the 2nd one!!!) by switching back to using the thumb stick instead of the motion control to steer. I think I was just having trouble estimating how far to move the thing to get it to turn correctly. The game is beautiful and a lot of fun too. I still haven’t opened the PS3 Ridge Racer game I got. I guess I should do that soon.
I was hoping to head Fimlys into an instance last night (maybe Mech for the last part of the Arc key, or Heroic Underbog [since I can finally get in]) but it didn’t end up happening. Not a big deal. Maybe tonight!

Another “barely played WoW” night. I did get into a guild group running BM somewhat early and we made 2 passes at it, but in the end were unsuccessful. I was there for the Rep, so I guess I got what I wanted. Also the Pattern: Stylin’ Jungle Hat dropped and I won it with an 18 (I think).. There was only 1 other Leatherworker with us. I just need some Primal Earth’s and I am all set to go (good luck to me. I suck at farming Motes)..
I also transferred Fimlys to the PTR, but didn’t download the client yet.. I’m not sure if I will or not.. I’d like to see the new abilities and try them out before they go live (also, so I can see if I want to spec the pet with the new stuff or not..). Another thing I want to do is a respec to Survival (on the PTR). I have never tried Survival Hunter and I just want to see what it can do..
I really want to want (can I say that?) to level my alts [Including my Earthen Ring Hordies] but I just can’t seem to get into the groove. I’m not sure why. I wonder how much xp you get if you walk around with a lvl 70 in a higher level area and let them kill stuff (lol). Nah.. I like my Rogue, my Druid and my Priest (shadow of course). I need to find time to at least get my Druid to 30.. She is almost there.. The Priest is getting close also. The rogue is at 21, but I think I enjoy playing him the most. I wish it just went a little quicker the second time around (or third, or fourth…)
Ah well.. Rest of the night was spent watching TV… (Brain Rot)… Ok.. enough for now. Maybe I’ll play more tonight.
