Wow. It’s been a crazy week. Not only did we do our first of many live TNB recordings on our new night (Tuesdays), but I was also on a podcast the Friday before… And the Friday after!
The Friday prior, I was on Women of Warcraft. Yes, yes. I know.. I am not a woman. But, Molly asked me to be her first guest host, and I was honored to accept. Go ahead and listen to Episode 10. This is her new Audio podcast. She’’s been doing the vidcast thing for much longer and is on Episode 57, I think. There were some issues with the recording because we had to use a technology with a lot of lag.. But I think, in the end, it was great anyway. It was definitely lots of fun hanging with Molly for the evening.. Even if I was about 30 seconds behind.. 
And then? Well, there’s this new show at WowTitans.Net .. Curiously enough.. It’s called the Wow Titans Cast. Or something like that.. Anyway, I was invited by Ravonbrand to be their second guest (what!? Not the first.. [jk]). I was happy to oblige and they even stayed up till the wee hours in the morning to accommodate my schedule (thanks guys!). So, you should go take a listen to THAT episode too..
So, if you just can’t get enough of “yours truly” (*cough* *cough).. Well, there are 2 more places you can hear me babble on endlessly (although a little less endlessly than TNB and Polygamerous.. well, maybe)..
Yeah, I failed at changing my theme.. Actually, I was upgrading my theme to a newer version of the SAME theme and well, there is something wrong with it. So, I switched back.. So much for that. For a couple of hours, if you came to my blog.. All you saw was a White Screen. It might have been only slightly more informative than my usual blog posts, so, really, no harm done, right?
Anyway. I actually do have a little more to tell you than that. If you didn’t notice, there was an announcement by Blizzard that the Blizzcon 2010 tickets are going on sale on June 2 and June 5. If you are interested in going, make sure you have your battle.net account all setup correctly and your blizzard store settings ready. I’m planning on heading out there for the big show this year again. If you are too, let me know!
I did get to raid a little this weekend.. But not with Fimlys.. Nor with Fyra. I did the weekly raid (Razorscale) with my Priest.. Yeah, I was one of 2 healers in the 10man Ulduar run. It was very interesting. I’ve really not used the priest in quite a while now so getting back into the swing of things took a couple of seconds. Thankfully the fight is a joke now.. But my priest got himself some sweet emblems in the deal, so he’s happy.
My first week of back to back nights of Podcasting went as well as could be expected. As well as could be expected while continuing the trend of my allergies deciding now was a great time to assert themselves. Hopefully too much of my hacking and sneezing doesn’t make it onto the show. But now my voice is really wrecked.. Gotta rest it now.. *sigh*
The raid was, by reason of the RL not showing up all night, cancelled. I did a bit of research through the guild as to whom had a good set of advanced Tailoring recipes that would be good for my Mage, Fizz. I got a few responses, but one had the Merlin’s Robe recipe and so I went about picking up the mats for it.
I used a bunch of the, now useless to some of the toons that have the most, Triumph Emblems to pick up the 8 Crusader Orbs I needed. Then searched the Auction House for the parts I needed to make myself some ebonweave and spellweave. Well, looking at the prices of the eternals, it dawned on me that it might be cheaper just to buy the cloth.. And.. It was! So, I picked up what I needed left of those 2, transferred the Dream Shards from my enchanter and was ready to go.
In the meantime, a Weekly Raid quest run on Razorscale was being setup and I joined in. I got my robe made and we proceeded to quickly down FL and Razorscale to get the quest done.
Another thing I spent a little time doing yesterday that had nothing to do with WoW was… I played 3d Dot Game Heroes. It’s a game for the PS3 by Altus that is a huge homage to the old style Zelda-like hack/slash RPGs. It’s pretty fun so far. Are there things I wouldn’t have done the way they did? Things I wish worked differently? Sure.. But that is normal with any game.
