Interestingly, we went back into Kara last night to finish it up.. Oh wait, that isn’t so interesting.. Well, no more so than usual (or is that unusual?).. We did pretty good all told. We had some issues with the Shade. We wiped once, but then got him down on the second attempt. It wasn’t what I would call “pretty”, but then again who cares..
The other bosses went down like clockwork. Prince, Netherspite, and even Nightbane were all one-shotted. It was even almost like “easy-mode” on Nightbane for a change finally. I ended up picking up the healing chestpiece from Nightbane for Fyra since nobody else wanted it. The helm token dropped from the Prince also (Warrior, Druid, Priest) but not only did I lose the roll (by 1) to the priest, but I even passed it up after he offered it to me anyway. A holy priest is nice to have and he needs the gear much more than Fyra does at this point (this was his first Kara run).
We skipped Illhoof because of the party makeup and the fact that some of the people had to get going. Afterwards, I did some of the quests in Searing Gorge with Fizz and Furis. They were generally “alright” if a bit boring (as usual..
). I have to say that re-speccing Furis to Prot was really the right way to go. He is holding aggro wonderfully and he can tank 2 or 3 mobs at the same time without batting an eye. I can see why Prot Pallys have been having so much fun..
With WotLK I will probably have his dual-spec be prot/healing and collect gear for both (since we will be able to “switch” easier supposedly).
Doing all the quests there and a couple others I had left in the Hinterlands I got them up to the ripe old age of 52! A few more levels to go. I might just go ahead and start gifting levels to my warrior and get that out of the way.. I was thinking I might wait so that the warlock can gift ones at the lower level as she levels. It might be easier. But then I definitely can’t level the pally at all until later.
I have heard from the grapevine that the 60-70 leveling will be drastically sped up when 3.0.2 patch comes out. Looking forward to that. My goal right now is to have one of each class to 60 at least by WotLK comes out. I’m pretty sure my rogue will be 70 (he is still sitting at 66, but we’ll be progressing again soon and it shouldn’t take long to ding 70.
I also need to go back at some point and work on leveling Jewelcrafting on my rogue again (he’s still pretty low..
) and also Engineering on my mage. Those I really want to get to 375 sooner or later. Also on the docket is going back to popping out a few daily quests here and there. I could use the cash still. Anyway, tonight we are supposed to head back into SSC for a second try at the Lurker. Wish us luck!

Yep, we went to Kara last night. (How could you tell?). We had a really good group with 3 healers (Priest, Shaman, Druid), 2 Warrior Tanks, and 5 DPS (1 Hunter, 2 Mages, 1 Shaman and a Boomkin to rule them all)…
We one shot everything we came across which included (in order of kill) Attumen, Moroes, Opera (Oz), Curator, Maiden. Yeah, we did Maiden after Curator. Did that so we could be sure to get Curator down that night (just in case there were issues). Then we headed back down, since we had gotten done so quick, and took out the Maiden pretty handily. Fyra picked up a bunch of badges (up above 50 now) but I’m not sure what my next upgrade will be. I picked up my Brutal Gladiator’s Wyrmhide Gloves, which sadly, are better than the T4 ones I had before.
After all that, I went to go play Fizz/Furis a little. I got them to Searing Gorge and down into the Dark Iron Dwarf area cave and then got a shout to come to Crypts. So, I hopped onto Freez and headed in with the group. I picked up the Darkguard Face Mask from the final boss there.. Woo hoo! We then went into Sethekk and cleared that place. By that point it was 3am and time for sleep..
Tonight is the continuation of Kara. I hope this night goes as smoothly as last night did. The only thing that would have improved last night would have been the inclusion of a Paladin.. :D After Kara, if I have time and awakitude (i just made that up, you like?) I will head back into Searing Gorge with the wonder twins and see if we can’t get them to at least 51 if not 52.. I’m not sure what level I want to be before begging someone to run me through BRD…. Hmmm… What do you think? I’d like it to be the last things I do before 59… I was thinking… Should I just get pretty close and hold onto those quests until after I finish my granting of levels? Then I could use those to get to 60 or more… Hmm…..
Ok.. I’m outta here..
Catch’ya later.

Tuesday was a somewhat eventful night. We actually got a group together for SSC. I guess school being back helped out a bit.. We started with less than 25, but by the time we were on Lurker we were very close to the max. We had a few problems though overall.
Some of our attempts we couldn’t seem to keep up the tanks. Some, we had issues with picking up the adds on the main ring. Others, we lost people because the failed to get in the water in time. Many of them were all of the above.. We ended up calling it quits without downing him, but it was pretty fun anyway. On my little island was just Fim and a mage. We tore a hole through those adds every round and always had time to take a few shots on the main ring mobs before the lurker reappeared.
After SSC finished up, I got onto Fizz/Furis and made my way back to Tanaris to finish up the quests there (at least the ones I am doing). They both dinged 50 (pretty close to each other IMHO) and after a couple more quests, I called it a night. (It was getting pretty late here)
Next stop for my leveling duo is probably Searing Gorge or back to Hinterlands for a couple of quests. There is also Feralas which I haven’t touched yet too. I’m also looking ahead to getting ready to ask someone to run them through BRD. I would imagine they would get an insane amount of XP from that run and all the quests in there.. I have to remember to stop at 59, though! Still not sure which toon is getting my free levels. Having moved the Warlock over to the other account, I might just have to grant them all to my warrior when it is time.
I have been having run playing the shaman/warlock combination too, so they might be my next diversion depending on what’s going on. If so, then I will probably start granting levels to my warrior as I go.. Lets see.. I currently have 3 level 70s, Hunter/Priest/Druid. I have my Rogue at 66. I have Paladin and Mage at 50. I have my warrior at 22 and I have shaman and lock at around 17 or so. Is that all the classes? I think so. Hunter/Priest/Druid/Rogue/Paladin/Mage/Warrior/Shaman/Warlock.. Soo.. I grant my warrior levels from the warlock when she gets over 22 and then when that is done, I can grant levels from the paladin.. Warrior will be up to 59 or so in no time … ha!
Might be time to go level some Hordlings soon… Have to pick a server though.. Hmm…
So, tonight is Kara. We’ve got a “new” priest coming with us I think but 2 other pretty experienced healers, so we should be okay. I’m back to running with Fyra since Fim got his badges and is all happy with his IoQD Chest. The Moonkin still needs many badges, so it badge farming I go. If I get the rogue up to 70 soon, he might be the one I bring depending on other availability… Well, that’s it for today.. I rambled on a lot.. Ah well..
Later!
