“If a tree falls in the forest… Who will Rez it?”
Ok. bad jokes over… For now…
Last night we were scheduled to do a Gruul’s run, but we were missing some key players. So, we jettisoned the raid and it was “every being for itself”. There was a general call for a DPS for a Botanica run and I volunteered. Group consisted of Pally Tank, Stopit’s Mage, Feral Drood, Boomkin (me) and a certain Trey in da Weend. We had some issues getting INTO the instance to begin with since we wanted to do it in Heroic (and it was set thusly) but one of our number did not have the key.. I ended up having to log out and in about 10 times before it worked right.
Otherwise, the run went somewhat un-eventful overall. We one shot all the bosses and other than there being more deaths than usual (many because I pulled some group we were skipping about 3-5 times…) it was a good time. The feral druid picked up a plethora of new items (including the staff from Warp Splinter)..
After the run, I found some peeps to make Fyra some gems and spellcloth and with one more slot left to fill, I have now hit 999 Spell Damage and maxed out Spell Hit unbuffed. Of course, much of this gear will get replaced as I pick up more badges. Unfortunately the best gear for a moonkin (at least at my level of raiding) is either Badges or Arena. I might pick up the offhand from arena points (need one more week of matches) or maybe even the gloves (although the ones I have right now are the only T4 piece I have.. )..
Anyway.. Tonight I’m running the Kara raid. I’m trying the “stack the DPS” method and only running 2 tanks/2 healers. We’ll have to see how it works. I’m definitely seeing very few people leveling/playing warlocks in the guild. Ah well..
I’ll catch you tomorrow.

Well, I didn’t play ALL that much this weekend.. Ok, Ok.. I’m lying.. I was about 45 minutes late on Saturday so we didn’t get to do Z’A. Of course, they could have organized something without me… Ah well..
I did spend more time leveling Freez. Saturday I got him to level 49 all by myself! (My leveling buddies were out of town for the evening) I still have a lot of catching up to do, so I do need some time on my own to get up there.. Probably won’t catch up until 60..
On Sunday, Pil and Kezz were back and we made our way (after some pit stops in Searing Gorge and Feralas) to Felwood to work on the quests there.. It’s amazing how much faster this stuff is with friends (I think I keep saying that.. It’s True! It’s True!). And, wonder of wonders, I dinged 50! (And I’m now > 50% toward 51).. Once he’s ready Freez can now learn the Master in my professions (Enchanting and Jewelcrafting). I think he is currently at 298 in Enchanting and nowhere near 300 in JC..
Tonight will probably be more leveling goodness I would think since Monday is another “dead” day. We should probably go back to running heroics or something, but I am enjoying this leveling process right now. Maybe won’t be as much fun once we hit 60, but I bet it will.. The three of us are Hunter, Rogue, Priest. Except that the Priest is Shadow right now. I have no idea if Kezz is going to take her priest holy when we get to outland (or even at 70) or not.
I suppose we shall see! :) I am mainly leveling my rogue for the professions and his lockpicking skill is pretty useful.. (although really difficult to level).. Ok.. Time to go.. Still have the podcast to work on.. Later All!

To have consisted of a Heroic Arcatraz run, last night did. (huh?) So, Fyra went into Arcatraz to rescue the fearless little ball of (you talk too much, just shoot the friggin mob!) gnome named Millhouse Manastorm for the Tenacity quest from the Na’aru.
We were going to try SSC, but we just don’t have the peeps right now. Summer is a bummer when it comes to raids it seems.
It went really well and we moved right along. We had really no problems with the first boss (big shadow dude). I was asked to help out with "party” healing while Pil (our preist) healed the tank. No problem..
Then onto the couple across the room from each other. We had some issues with the demon ladies right before them for some reason. We kept getting 2 at a time and wiped at least twice. Finally we took em down and the bosses went down pretty easily also.
Moving on, we made it through the meteor storm that is the 2 elemental dudes near the end and then the final boss. Harbringer Skyriss itself (himself?) was actually not so bad. We lost Kezz on one of the creatures before it shows up, but I battle rezzed and all was fine.. 4 badges pretty easily and I finished up that quest.
After turning that in, I took a little time off and then when I came back, Fyra did some questing in Netherstorm. After soloing the dude at the top of the mountain and then getting the “plans” for the SSO quest, a rare spawn showed up, Ever-Core the Punisher. Easy to kill since he isn’t elite and his drop was just, eh..
But, anyway, I hearthed back to Shat to turn in quests and when I turned in the one that leads to getting the key for Arc (yeah, I didn’t have it yet) Fyra hit Exalted with Sha’tar.
This is the first outland exalted she has gotten (even beat out Violet Eye!) and it was very exciting. Not really much to get in terms of gear or recipes though. I think Fimlys’ first outland exalted was Sha’tar too..
Tonight is first 1/2 Kara night. I might push for us to try to get all the way to the Prince if we can since I am not sure I will be able to go tomorrow night since we have company coming to stay with us for the long weekend. I suppose we shall have to see how it goes!
